Mi Familia de Elefantes is an embodied ethnodrama in Spanglish that traces the stories of the matriarchs who raised me and the mother island that shaped us. Blending performance, memory, and research, the piece explores inheritance, survival, and the living archive of family and island. The work concludes with a community story circle inviting audiences to reflect on and share their own matriarchal lineages.
